Creating Complex Sentences

Does your child struggle with punctuating their sentences? Do they often write run on sentences? Do they need to add variety to their sentence structure?

In this class, students will learn complex sentence structure. This class will be divided into four sections. First, I will model how to correctly use punctuation to make a complex sentence. Second, the students will use multiple modalities to practice complex sentences. Students will actively participate through gesturing their sentences with capitalization, commas, and punctuation. Third, students will be guided through practicing editing sentences. Finally, students will independently practice writing complex sentences. This is a fun class to repeat often for your learner to master writing complex sentences!
