In this art class learners will discover the abstract artist Sandra Silberzweig. Our focus will be on creating a colorful watercolor and oil pastel art project inspired by her portrait of Frida Kahlo.
Class experience
In this class, learners will explore Sandra’s bold use of color and lines as we create an abstract portrait of Frida Kahlo. First, learners will complete a guided step by step drawing to get a good foundation for our masterpiece. During this step I will be checking in and helping anyone that needs it while encouraging learners to let me know if they need extra help along the way.
