Description
Class Experience
In this class learners will discover Robin Mead, a master of using black ink line drawings and watercolors to create the most beautiful art! She is incredible at creating a feeling of joy with color! First, learners will be taught to draw fun and whimsical flowers with lines, dots, and shapes that come together to create our wild flower bouquet. Next, I will guide learners in creating a balanced drawing emphasizing variety. (Principals of Design). Then, we will add in some color with ink!...
* learn about Robin Mead * discuss balance & variety (Principles of Design) * how to create texture with watercolors using salt

Positive feedback goes such a long way with young artists’. After class, I encourage all learners to post a picture in our classroom of their final work of art! This gives all of the classmates and myself the opportunity to comment on each piece in hopes to connect and build a deeper sense of community. I know these positive interactions will help power them with more confidence into the next project they create!
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
