In this one-time course, students will learn how to set up and customize a blog. We will cover how to set up the layout and theme, how to post, etc. Students have the option to create along with me or watch the instruction and do it on their own afterward. I will share my PPT after class so students can refer to it if necessary. We will start with introductions and then dive into class. I will teach this class mostly by lecture, though am very open to questions and discussion as they arise. I have a fun teaching style. I love to build rapport with my students and help them to feel comfortable. Students should be able to type and navigate on the internet. They also will need a gmail account to use blogspot.
Learning Goals
Students will leave this class knowing how to set up their own blog!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Utah Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
Hello! My name is Miss Whitney! If you are interested in a class, but it isn't offered at a time that works for you, please reach out and I'll see what I can do!
I plan to teach fun and engaging classes related to reading, technology, ASL, and art. If you are interested in a class I don't have scheduled, please reach out! I was an elementary school teacher for three years, a high school seminary teacher for one, and an elementary computer teacher for one. For the past four and a half years, I've been teaching online to allow me to stay home with my children. I've always wanted to be a teacher because I have a love of learning and love working with children. I believe that making learning fun can make it easier. I love singing, reading, and Disney princesses! I'm excited to get to know your child!
