Watching the Thanksgiving Day parade is a tradition in many homes. In this class, we will spend the first few minutes discussing the history of the parade and learning some fun facts about the floats. Then learners will have the opportunity to create their own miniature floats using a variety of materials. Materials such as construction paper, boxes, balloons, straws, paper plates, string, paint, colored pencils, scissors, glue, popsicle sticks. These specific items are not all required. Your learner can use any materials they wish to use. The possibilities are endless!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is recommended as students will be using scissors and glue.
