In this one time class, students will create a poetry journal and add their own limerick poems to it.

I am a licensed elementary educator with multi-grade level experience in language arts. Poetry is an essential component within the language arts curriculum. It not only stands alone, but also aids in writing skills. Poetry is an excellent way to use your senses to enhance your writing and express yourself. I will utilize paper materials (PDF will be delivered to you ahead of time), the book, "Explore Poetry!" written by Andi Diehn, and a Homeschool Pop video. I would be happy to answer any...

Hello from Texas! Although I am currently residing in Texas, we move quite often and that has allowed me to have many different types of career experiences. I have tutored privately and through well-known organizations; taught in the public school classroom setting with a self-contained classroom; substituted and interned in private school classroom settings; instructed at the community college level; assisted with museum operations; and homeschooled my three munchkins. I have worked with early education all the way up to the community college level.
