We'll dive into techniques for drawing expressive wings, powerful claws, and captivating dragon faces, all inspired by Tui T. Sutherland's bestselling series. Then, get ready to add splashes of color using the fluid beauty of watercolor paints! Don't have watercolors? No problem! Feel free to bring your colored pencils, markers, or even your digital art tools to create your stunning dragon masterpieces. Let your imagination take flight and create artwork worthy of the Dragonets of Destiny!


No prior experience necessary! My step-by-step guidance will make it easy for beginners, while experienced artists can explore new techniques.

~ IMPORTANT~ Be on time for class! 
This is a step-by-step lesson, and you need to be on time. If your artist is late for any reason, I will let them in class, and they can participate where we are in the drawing. I will offer your artist the option of doing the complete lesson on the recording after class has finished and the lesson has been uploaded to the cloud.

BEFORE CLASS
Students should start logging into class about 5 mins before the scheduled start time. This allows time for you to resolve any technical issues with your device's connection.  If you are using a battery-powered device (laptop, Ipad, etc) be sure it is fully charged or connected to the power supply.

I will use this time for students to show me any art they have completed and any questions before starting the class session. 

This Workshop uses watercolor paint, but colored pencils, markers, and digital art are encouraged!
Watercolor Painting Class Supplies :
Paper - watercolor paper 9 x 12 ( A few pieces of Watercolor paper if you want to paint more than one character)
Pencil and eraser
Jar of water
Paper towels or napkins
Paintbrush
Paint - watercolor paints

*According to Outschool policy, all students need to be registered separately. If they are not, they are to be placed in the waiting room until the parent can make arrangements to register the extra learners, or the teacher may refund them.  We understand the desire for friends or siblings to watch, but if two children participate under one registration, they will be sent back to the waiting room per Outschool policy. One child per registration. It is acceptable for registered learners to share a screen!
