Description
Class Experience
-Students will use their own creativity and imagination to make their own artwork. -Students will follow directions to create a finished project that will be unique to them. -Students will understand how a basic object can become something much more if they think about what might be possible and learn artistic techniques.
-Plastic or glass bottle/ jar/ vase/ or container. Glass is preferable and looks more expensive in the end. It will also last for many years vs. plastic. Think about what you want it to be. Like if you want it to be decorative or hold flowers, you might choose a vase or wine bottle. Or if you want something that will hold pens or something, you might want a shorter jar with a wide mouth. And you don’t have to spend money. You might have something around the house that will work, or you may get something at your local Goodwill for a quarter. -a roll of masking tape. We can make any width do, but about an inch is preferable. And we will be tearing it, so they won’t need scissors. It doesn’t need to be a big roll. It goes a long way. -One container of crème shoe polish. This is the most expensive item. On Amazon, they have Feet People Premium Shoe Cream 1.5 oz, assorted colors. They have about 43 colors to choose from. It is just over 7.00, but it lasts a very long time. You can do project after project with just one. -paper towels- To wipe on the shoe polish and to wipe your hands
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
