Class Experience

Students will learn how to create colorful patterned friendship bracelets. Friendship bracelets are given to one’s bestie as a symbol of friendship.  It is made up of simple knotting techniques, a type of macramé, used to create beautifully decorative patterns.  These unisex bracelets are great for teenagers, children and even adults. Stringing bracelets help children develop hand-eye coordination, dexterity, fine motor skills and encourage students to pay attention.  Students will experiment with colors and patterns.    Being a jewelry designer for 20+ years has helped me to troubleshoot situations and understanding in art, there are no mistakes, only happy accidents.
