Description

Class Experience

Ready to fall in love with painting?     
   No painting experience is necessary.......Really!  
Just paint - a - long  with Ms. Muse and by the end of class time,  you will have created a masterpiece! 
Students will follow along step by step, as I paint details right in front of them.   

  I will demonstrate  how the paint colors work together and we'll layer these to create beautiful paintings with depth. 
 
They will learn painting terminology and some easy to remember  techniques that...

CAMERAS will be asked to be ON during class for attendance purposes.  
 As you know, Outschool classes are specifically for children.   
 Per Outschool's policy,  each painter must be registered separately.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

11 x14, Canvas   
*PAINTED BLACK Prior to class
 or  
multi - purpose paper painted black for use with acrylics

This particular OWL painting will use these acrylic colors
Black ,  white , brown, yellow, orange 
* choice of background color

Water 
 Plate for paint
Towel

*A hair dryer is also helpful for an adult to dry the black painted canvas prior to class

Acrylic Nylon Brushes:
 1 inch Flat wash brush 
 
 Round Brushes   
 # 8 

 # 3 or #4  ( small detail brush )

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
