*This is a self-paced class meaning I will post a video tutorial and the students can complete the artwork when convenient for them. There are no live classes.* In this class, we will create beautiful landscape scenes of a bridge, desert, and galaxy in Procreate (a program for iOS devices). The images are shown in the cover image above. In this class, we will use various brushes, including the airbrush, studio pen/monoline, nebula, glimmer, light pen, and oceans brush. We will also use create multiple layers, and use the gaussian blur. Students require a basic knowledge of Procreate, including knowing where the color palette is, where the brushes are, how to undo and redo, create perfect shapes, and where layers are. I will mirror my Procreate screen on Zoom and teach students step-by-step how to create beautiful landscape paintings. I am a patient, fun, creative, interactive, and kind teacher who is super excited to create art with you! Pre-Requisites
Students should know the basics about Procreate (i.e. where the layers button is, how to undo and redo, have some background with layers, know how to create basic shapes, and know where tools are located). Consider a live class if not.

Welcome! If you are looking for a friendly, kind, patient, and interactive teacher for your children, you have come to the right place. I'm so excited you are here! I am looking forward to engaging with your children and teaching digital art.
I have been a school psychologist in various school settings since 2013. As a school psychologist, I evaluate cognitive, academic, social/emotional and behavioral strengths and needs of children in order to help them learn. So, I have extensive experience working with neurodivergent students. I graduated from Temple University with an Educational Specialist Degree (Masters+45 Credits) in School Psychology, and I attended Penn State University for my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a Business focus. While in college, I took numerous art education courses. I have led various social/emotional groups for children in schools, and I have also taught art and drama classes at a summer camp. I am passionate about working with children and families. I am creative and art has been a hobby of mine growing up. I have experience with numerous art mediums, and I have worked with preschool through twelfth grade students. I believe in the power of using art to gain social-emotional skills.
I value getting to know all students I work with, learning names, and ensuring that all students are happy and engaged. I believe all students can learn, and I am very inclusive and loving towards all students I work with.
I have an eleven-year-old lab/terrier mix pup who I love, and she may make a personal introduction during our sessions! I enjoy exploring countries and learning about different cultures; I have been to Israel, Greece, Canada, and Mexico, and I lived in Michigan before moving to Pennsylvania. Can't wait to work with you and your children!
Please message me about any classes you are interested in and we can find a time to do them. I go back to my full time job after Labor Day but would love to provide classes after 5pm EST or on the weekends! I will also have some scheduled on the weekends! Looking forward to hearing from you!
