In this class students will view the work of Beatrix Potter, discuss what they see, and then create their on animals inspired by Beatrix Potter!
Class experience
Students will begin the class introducing themselves and reviewing classroom expectations. From there, students will begin the lesson by viewing Beatrix Potter’s animals and discussing what they see. Students will then be led in a teacher demonstration on how to create their own inspired animals using fine tip black ink and watercolor. Hey! I am offering this class to expose students to artists while creating their own masterpiece. I believe I am the perfect fit as I am a certified art teacher who has spent many years fine tuning her craft on exposure to Art with a mix of different art mediums. Art is subjective and it allow students to find their own creative outlet while learning skills along the way!
