Items needed for the instruments are as below.  Please check which week we are on and go to that instrument to find what you will need this week:

Drum Materials: 
• Empty Container and cover (for example, coffee can) 
• Construction paper (2 pieces) 
• Tape 
• Markers 

Maracas 
• 2 empty small water bottles with top 
• 2 toilet paper rolls 
• Scissors 
• Tape 
• Markers 
• Uncooked cup of rice 
• Uncooked cup of beans 

Tambourine 
• 2 sturdy white paper plates 
• Markers 
• Hole punch 
• Yarn 
• Scissors 
• Small jingle bells 

Rain Stick 
• Empty cardboard roll (the sturdy one inside an empty foil works perfectly but you can use an empty paper towel roll) 
• Uncooked Rice 
• Uncooked Beans 
• Piece of Foil
 • Clear packing Tape
 • Yarn

Guitar:
•	Cereal box or shoe box
•	Wrapping paper tube 
•	Large rubber bands (if not available, you can use string, or fishing line if needed)
•	Scissors
•	Glue
•	Tape


Harmonica:
•	2 popsicle sticks
•	Markers to decorate sticks
•	Straw
•      1 thick rubber band 
•	2 Small rubber bands
•	Strip of paper
•	Straw 
•	Toothpick
•	Scissors
Kazoo: 
•	Toilet paper tube or cut a paper towel tube 
•	Wax paper
•	Rubber band
•	Markers, stickers, or anything like wrapping paper to decorate the tube with
•	Scissors 

Spool Drum:
•	Empty ribbon spool
•	Paper straws 
•	Card Stock Paper
•	Markers, wrapping paper, or washi tape for decorating purposes
•	String or twine - this will need to be able to be threaded through the wooden beads. 
•	Wooden beads
•	Glue


Tubular Bells:
•	Wooden Dowel (5/16” x 7 1/2”) or a non-sharpened pencil
•	Pipe cleaners (2)
•	Small jingle bells (10 – 12)
•	Ribbon (8” long)
•	Marker 
•	Scissors

Panpipes:  
*NEED ONE PART below PREPPED BY PARENT*
Parents, please take a pair of pliers to hold a straw towards the end of the straw.  With the lighter in the other hand, light the end quickly to seal the end of the straw, so no air comes out when you blow into the straw.  
•	8 Plastic Straws
•	Ruler

Kalimba Thumb Piano: 
•	4"x 6" piece of heavy cardboard or piece of wood (it does not have to be exact) - I have used a long piece of cardboard and folded it three times and taped it to make it heavy-duty.  
•	8 bobby pins
•	2 popsicle sticks or 1 dowel
•	Glue
•	Markers, stickers, or anything to decorate the board with
