Description

Class Experience

Students will be able to find a probability of rolling a sum of (any number 2 - 12) with 2 dice, and explain the difference between theoretical and experimental probability.  
 2 files available upon enrollment
1) Two handouts will be provided, which need to be printed out prior to the first class: game board and frequency graph template. 2) Students need to have two, 6 sided dice numbered 1 through 6 or use free e-dice like https://www.random.org/dice/. 3) Students need to have 10 pennies or 10 small objects used as markers in the game (Examples: coins, raisins, unit cubes)
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
