In this one time class, we will discuss our favorite princesses and create a brand new princess. We will use the elements of a story to give our new princess her own journey and characteristics.

In this one-time class will discuss some of our favorite Disney Princess tales as we learn/review the elements of a story. We will then brainstorm as a group Who, What, Where, When, and Why as we create a brand new princess and her very own story with a clear beginning, middle, and end. We will then read our story together and each girl will have a chance to illustrate her own version of the princess and share with the group. My goal is to create a safe and fun environment where every learner gets a chance to share their ideas.

Hello parents and learners! I am a Theater teacher as well as a professional actress, voice-over artist, and singer. I teach a variety of classes dedicated to theater and music. I invite you to check out my online classroom!
I have a Bachelor's degree in Dramatic Arts and 13 years of experience working in Theater Arts and Music education with all ages from toddlers to adults. I worked as a theater and music teaching artist at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville, Tennessee for the past 8 years as well as the Disney Musicals in Schools program bringing the magic of Disney to elementary and middle schools.
I have worked at The Great Lakes Theater in Cleveland, Ohio bringing classic theater to grades K-12 as both a professional actor and teacher and I am a former vocal coach at the School of Rock.
I love teaching and giving my students the necessary tools to become theater and music artists themselves. My goal is to build their confidence and help them make a personal connection with what they are learning. And of course, have fun along the way!
