Create a Multicolored Flower With Adobe Illustrator

Mastering a graphic design application like Adobe Illustrator can be daunting when you try to do it all at once. However, if you take it project-by-project and learn all the options to create just one project at a time, before you know it you'll have a sound working knowledge of the entire application.

This class is for absolute beginners who know little to nothing about Adobe Illustrator. You'll be creating a multicolored flower illustration using specific menu options, panels and tools that we will go over thoroughly before we start our project.

Once you have a good understanding of where everything is located for this particular project, then we will start to create our flower.

Part 1: Learn where all our options are
Part 2: Set up our Artboard
Part 3: Create our new color group
Part 3: Create the eight flower petals [this includes learning the rotate, duplicate and change opacity]
Part 4: Add a gradient to each petal [this includes learning the fill and pathfinder functions
Part 5: Add our finishing touches
Part 6: Admire our work and be proud of what we accomplished!

PLEASE NOTE: I like to finish what I start. I intend to keep teaching until the project is done! I understand that you may not be able to continue with the class after the official time frame, but I will be recording the entire project from start to finish, and the video will be available once the class is over. You will not be charged extra if the class goes over.
