Create a Monster/Monster Face in Adobe Photoshop!
Learners will use a combination of given resources, and their own collected resources to create a Monster in Adobe Photoshop. Learners will learn different Photoshop techniques to cut out, add, and blend.

Intermediate Level
In this class, you will be taught how to create a Monster using Adobe Photoshop techniques, with given photographic resources, and students own collected photographic resources The class overview is as follows; Class Activity: What is a Monster? How would you describe the look and feel of a Monster? Examples: You will be shown examples of Monsters Demonstration: You will be shown how to create a new document, and then how to bring in images to edit. I will demonstrate how to cut out, change the size, angle, etc. I will demonstrate how to duplicate an image, or part of an image (for example - multiple eyes). Learner Activity: You will be encouraged to use your own computer to have a go at this task. You will be able to ask questions during this point, or have me repeat the task. Demonstration: You will be shown how to use the Move Tool, and Layers in order to arrange the Monster parts on your faces/body Learner Activity: You will be encouraged to continue your Monster creation. You can ask me questions, or ask me to repeat a technique Demonstration: You will be shown how to blend areas of your Monsters Learner Activity: You will be encouraged to blend area of your Monster should you wish to. You could also continue cutting out facial features, limbs, etc. I would love for you continue using these techniques after the lesson, and complete your Monster. I look forward to seeing your creations! You may choose to bring your completed Monsters to a follow up Adobe Illustrator session, where I show you how to use techniques to create an Illustrated version of your monsters.

Parental Guidance
We are creating monsters in this session - so multiple eyes, rough scaly skin, big sharp teeth, etc are likely going to feature. This may be scary for some learners.
In order to be able to make the most of this class, parents of learners (or learners if they are of an appropriate age) should have purchased, and downloaded Adobe Photoshop, and have an Adobe ID.

Pre-Requisites
It would be helpful if learners have some knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, and have used it to a basic level.
