Description

Class Experience

Students will continue to develop skills in artistic expression, and artistic decision making.
Students will gain skills in sculpture and painting.
Learners will be able to describe different types of landforms such as peninsula, plains, and canyons.
Learners will learn vocab words, such as topography, key and legend, and compass rose.
The two things I love most in life is art and teaching! I have a degree in art education and have lots of experience working with young students. I think that basic understanding of art techniques and theories are important things that students should learn to not only further their art skills but also to see the beauty in the world around them!
Some students may need time outside of class to finish painting.
Day 1: Large piece of cardboard Sharpie or black marker 4 cups flour 2 cups salt Cream of tartar water Day 2: Paint- acrylic paint works best Paint Brushes of various sizes
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
