In this activity, not only children will enjoy they also can keep track of healthy super-foods they need to eat throughout the week. This class also allows children to promote fine motor skills. I designed this lesson fun and engaging for young children so they can get inspired by eating healthy food like fruits and vegetables. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, kids from preschool to age eight need 1½ cups of vegetables and 1½ cups of fruit each day. But getting your child to eat his/her fair share of healthy fruits and vegetables can sometimes be difficult. Here is a project to inspire your child to start eating super healthy food: make a Healthy Food Plate.
No homework will be assigned for this lesson.
