Create 3D Glitch Art by Hand! Optical Illusion Drawing Lesson
In this one time class, we will learn how to draw and color simple 3D glitch effects by hand. We will recreate the TikTok logo as well as create a 3D smiley face using this new skill!

In this one time class, we will learn how to draw and color simple 3D glitch effects. We will recreate the TikTok logo as well as create a smiley face using this new skill! The technical term for this type of drawing is called a "3D Anaglyph" drawing. We will briefly look at how this effect plays tricks on our eyes and creates an optical illusion that gives these drawings a 3D feel. Materials: I recommend that students bring a black marker, red/pink marker, and a light blue marker to class. While markers are recommended, students can use other coloring utensils as well.
