In this class, learners will join me and my handy assistant Daphne (age 10) in making delicious creations together. Baking is a fantastic way to help young ones grow in confidence, be creative, learn to follow directions, improve motor skills, and much more. Durning each session, we will meet together to prepare each recipe as a class. I will be demonstrating each step-by-step process, during which we will discuss the components of baking. Students will increase motor skills, work on following directions, work together, and focus on motor skills. Most importantly, have fun!
I have been teaching baking and life skill classes for over 8 years.
Learners will receive supply lists for each class session a few days (2-3) before class starts. Recipes will be provided after each session. May also need: -Mixing Bowl(s) -Whisk -Cupcake Trays -Pipping Supplies -Etc
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Please be aware your child will need to have access to the oven and possibly to knives depending upon the recipe of the week.
