Crash Course Spanish: ¡Los Animales! (Flexible)

**As a flexible class, there will be no live meetings**

This class is a review for those who know some Spanish. If you have taken some beginning Spanish classes and simply want to know more about animals (in Spanish), this class is for you! We will talk, read, write, and show pictures of animals in Spanish.

Each week in the classroom you will see a video (or videos) containing the following:
~Week 1: Review names of animals. You may learn the names of as many animals as you would like. If an animal is not covered in the videos, you are welcome to ask about it and we will learn it as a class. Question: What is your favorite animal? and Do you like _____?
~Week 2: More names of animals and numbers. Question: How many animals do you have?
~Week 3: Describing animals using color and size. Question: What does the animal look like?
~Week 4: Animals and movement. Question: What does the animal do?

Students will be encouraged to participate in the weekly challenges and activities by uploading pictures, videos or audio to practice and share what they are learning. The teacher will provide feedback within 24 hours so the student can practice again if needed. The student will also be encouraged to ask and answer questions to/from their peers in Spanish, particularly the weekly questions that they will be practicing at home. 
Extra reading and writing activities will be provided for those who would like to practice those skills.
