Learning all your multiplication facts can be tricky! Don't worry this "Crash Course" is here to help. Students often struggle to memorize facts because everything seems unrelated and random. We know that in math nothing is really random! Everything has a reason or a why. In this series we will explore the "why", find the patterns and practice making multiplication easier for all. The crash course classes combine facts that follow similar rules or patterns until we know all our facts from 0s to 12s. Class structure 5 minutes - Meet Ms. C and Welcome 5 minutes - What is multiplication? 20 minutes- Facts 5 minutes- Wrap up We will learn together through multiplication songs, slides, lecture, games, and video clips. Student are welcome to sing along and volunteer to share their answers in the chat, via emoji, on the mic or by holding up their white board, whenever they are ready to join in :) Need more practice! Join that session more than once to practice with us a little more. Hi,
I'm Ms. C! My primary goal is to make learning both fun and easy for learners and parents.
Before joining the Outschool community, I had the opportunity to teach students in grades K-6 in the classroom and most recently have worked with teachers and administration to provide support in developing math curriculum and classrooms environments, as a network Math Coach.
I have a B.A Sociology with a concentration in Child and Family Studies, along with 10+years teaching in the classroom.
I look forward to providing you with content that brings the joy and excitement back to learning.
