In this four-session program, students will explore the fundamentals of quadratic functions, learning to graph, factor, and solve quadratic equations using different methods, including the quadratic formula. Each 60-minute session is packed with interactive instruction, guided practice, and real-world applications to help students gain confidence and mastery in working with quadratics. Students will learn to: Understand and graph quadratic functions. Factor quadratic expressions and solve quadratic equations by factoring. Solve quadratic equations using the quadratic formula. Apply quadratics to solve real-world problems and scenarios. What topics will you cover? Each class begins with a quick warm-up to review prior knowledge and introduce the new topic. This is followed by clear, step-by-step direct instruction with visual examples. The main part of the session includes guided practice, where students solve problems with my support, followed by an interactive problem-solving activity. Each class wraps up with a review and time for student questions to ensure comprehension. I use a combination of visual aids, interactive whiteboard demonstrations, and collaborative learning strategies to teach key concepts. The lessons include a mix of direct instruction and hands-on practice, with real-life examples to make the material relevant and engaging. Students will participate in solving problems and discussing strategies during each session. My teaching style is supportive, patient, and geared toward helping students build confidence in their abilities. I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and encourage active participation to keep students engaged. I use positive reinforcement and constructive feedback to help learners progress and understand each concept deeply. Students will interact with me throughout each session. I encourage questions, facilitate group discussions, and guide students through problem-solving activities. This ensures that each learner is actively involved and supported, receiving immediate feedback and personalized attention as needed. By the end of Crash Course 4, students will be confident in their ability to graph, factor, and solve quadratic equations using multiple methods. They will have gained essential skills and problem-solving techniques that will prepare them for more advanced math courses and help them excel in their current studies.
