Autumn Emigh (she/her/hers)
In this FLEX class, you will learn and practice letter S and a variety of S blend sounds while you play games and make crafts. You will receive instructional videos for 2 game boards and 2 crafts each week.
Are you working on the S phonics sound? Is your learner struggling with the letter S blends? This class is designed to give your learner lots of practice with those sounds. This class is not a replacement for, nor is it meant to be speech therapy. Each week in this class, you will use common craft supplies to make two letter S or S blend crafts with instructional videos that your learner can easily follow along with needing minimal help from you. You will also be given two game boards...
Learners will learn the letter S and S blend sounds. Learners will learn words that contain the letter S and S blend sounds. Learners will make and share beautiful art. Learners will have fun!

Learners will need adult supervision when working with messy art materials, glue, and scissors. Your learner may need help posting to our class Padlet - videos are part of our discussion and interaction and Padlet is a safe place for learners to share with each other. We will also use Kahoot for short quizzes each week to talk about words from our games and your learner may need your help accessing them. Neither Padlet nor Kahoot will require your child to create an account.
All class materials will be created by the instructor.
