Crafty Phonics - Letter L Club
In this ongoing class, we will create themed crafts while we talk about letter L or L blend sounds. We will create lots of fun crafts, learn lots of L or L blend words, and play fun games related to the theme each week.

Class Experience
In this ongoing class, we will use common craft supplies to make a new letter L or L blend craft each week. Our class will begin with a greeting and an introduction to the letter L sound and theme for the week. Learners will enjoy working on their crafts, talking about the theme of the week, and then sharing their creations. We will talk about lots of letter L and L blend words while we work each week. Learners will learn the letter L and L blend sounds. Learners will learn words that contain the letter L and L blend sounds. Learners will make and share beautiful art. Learners will have fun!
I have been a speech-language pathologist for over 20 years and love to help kids acquire new language and communication skills. I have always loved to help kids create and share. I also love reading and I am very excited to pass the love of reading on to my learners.
A follow-up activity will be posted in the classroom after class.
1 file available upon enrollmentThe supplies for the first two weeks of classes are: Week of August 30: Egg Carton Whales Egg Carton – only need one cup Blue paper Blue paint Paint brush, cup, apron, and table covering Blue pipe cleaner 2 google eyes Black marker Scissors Glue This list will be kept as updated as possible. A follow-up activity will be posted in the classroom after class. This handout will be black and white to minimize ink needed when printing. The activity will be able to be completed on a device in case a printer isn't available.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
