Students will learn how to add texture to their paintings by using hot glue. Parental supervision is recommended. We will begin by using a shading technique to transfer our fox onto our canvas, then we will go over with our hot glue. We will then paint our background and fox. Please be sure to print the fox clipart I have attached. You may need to adjust the size before printing. Supplies: Fox clipart, posted in the classroom with the welcome message 8x10 Canvas board (larger canvas will also be fine) Pencil Hot glue gun with glue sticks Acrylic paints and something to put them on Paint brushes, various sizes Water Paper towels Tape (washi, painters, or scotch) Scissors (optional)
