Description
Class Experience
Students will create and craft for this Summer Camp experience. Learners will learn how to create various crafts that are both easy, fun and engaging. No prior art or craft experience is necessary. Students will be led step-by-step and will leave the class with a fun project that is sure to please. Some projects may need parental help to hot glue the finishing touches together. Class Schedule: Day 1: Rainbow Blowers Cardboard Tubes (toilet paper rolls), Acrylic paint, 8-10 tissue paper...

As a mom and first grade teacher, I have crafted, painted and taught art for over 25 years.
Preparing supplies
Day 1: Rainbow Blowers Cardboard Tubes (toilet paper rolls), Acrylic paint, 8-10 tissue paper strips about 2” wide by 8” long (any color preference) , glue Day 2: Fork Stamped Tulips Craft Forks, washable kids paint, paper plate, white card stock, paintbrush Day 3: I-Spy Bottle 1 bag of un-cooked rice, empty bottle (water, soda etc.), hot glue gun and glue (parents need to use this) Several small items you would like to go into your bottle (beads, charms, buttons, marbles etc.) Day 4: Super Hero Craft Solid colored cupcake liners, 3 tongue depressors, acrylic paint, small Googley eyes Day 5: Painted Rock Fairy Houses Rocks or stones (larger size), Extra fine tip paint pen multipack, Tree bark, leaves, moss or contraction paper, Glue gun (parents use)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

3 hours 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students may need help cutting with scissors or hot gluing crafts in class or they can do this before class with parental help.
