In this ongoing course we will develop our cognitive skills as we practice following step-by-step instructions. Unlike my creative art class, in this class we work toward a specific goal such as painting a rainbow in the correct color order, gluing popsicle sticks together to create a box, and making clay pinch pots. Students will develop cognitive skills and short-term memory as they practice remembering and following instructions. They will develop a sense of confidence as they succeed in creating their craft. (Much validation and honest praise are given throughout class).
A list of materials will be provided in the session details and sent as an email prior to class.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
