Class Experience
Welcome to Crafting With Yarn. Join us as we craft an adorable dog. No knitting experience needed as we will not be knitting but instead crafting with yarn. Conversation will be encouraged for all learners. I will be crafting along with the learners to show them each step as we go. We will be using a toilet paper roll for the base of the dog. They can choose the color of yarn for their dog. They will need thin yarn for this project to be successful. They will use black beads for the eyes...
Yarn: Thin Consistency *You choose your color 1 Toilet Paper Roll 5inch square piece of cardboard (cereal box, cracker box, etc. can be used) Scissors Hot Glue Gun Needle Nose Plyers 3 small black beads (eyes and nose) Pink Felt
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Scissors and Hot Glue will be used during this class. You know your child best so please provide age-appropriate scissors and monitor the hot glue gun as needed. I recommend using needle nose plyers to hold the objects to be glued. This helps to minimize skin contact.
