Students will grow their understanding of storytelling and help build a piece of narrative that has both a strong creative element and matters to each student personally.

I am a professional Public Speaker, Advocate, Writer, and Poet who emphasizes sharing my story with businesses, communities, and clients in order to help others learn how to share their stories and gain community allies. I have partnered with both creative and professional businesses looking to grow their audience and help empower their students and workers to build their confidence in writing and sharing their stories with their audiences across Colorado. 

Homework Offered
Each week I will ask students to further develop their piece of writing with the intention of having at least three paragraphs. We will devote time to in group work and if the homework in completed in group homework is not necessary. I do encourage for our students to share their writing with at least one trusted family or adult friend to build confidence in telling a story.
Assessments Offered
Students will be assessed through an informal discussion on where students think their strengths are at the beginning of the class and where they think they are growing every two classes. 
Grades Offered

We will touch on media like Justice League, Spiderman, Adventure Time, Spiderman Into the Spiderverse, The Lord of the Rings, and more media where stories are incredibly powerful.
