Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 2
Beginner Level
Bienvenido a mi clase!

This is a hands-on class where your learner will acquire Spanish vocabulary in a relaxed environment. We will work on seasonal and not seasonal topics.

In this class, we will do fun crafts for ages 5-8 and kids get to choose the craft of the week from a list of options!

Some examples are:

- Make a Pop up card - Thanksgiving vocabulary
- Advent calendar - Christmas vocabulary
- Christmas card - Christmas vocabulary
- Christmas ornament - Christmas vocabulary

My teaching style follows a flexible approach. I guide learners throughout the process of making the craft step b step. We review materials and interact while working. We work on all skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing.

Students will receive a list of materials they need to get prior to our class. Students will also obtain a vocabulary list related to the craft that we will practice in class.

Materials are easy to find, inexpensive and they are things you probably already have at home.

If your learner is Bilingual or knows some Spanish, then my class will be 100% in Spanish.

Although the class listing says this class is for ages 5-8, I can adapt this class to ages 5-18.

Let me know if you have any requests and I can create a new listing that adapts to your needs.

The class structure is as follows:

-warm up
-craft
-vocabulary review
-wrap up
