Description
Class Experience
Students will learn and practice the skills needed to write short works of fiction, as well as develop the confidence that they have the ability to tell such a story.
I have several years teaching experience with homeschooled teens who were either leery of writing, or excited about writing, and I enjoy working with both in the same class.
Minimum of a forty-five minutes after each class session, although the actual work done will be up to the student. After each class students will work further on their existing piece, and can send the work to the teacher for feedback after each session.
Notebook/paper and pencil/pen. A handout will be given each class for reference, but printing it is optional.
3 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
