In this camp we will meet a total of 3 times over 1 week. Each day we will craft something new. Day 1- Washi Tape Frame Dry Erase Board- You will need a frame (any size), washi tape (designs of your liking), card stock or some other thick paper, scissors, dry erase marker. We will use the washi tape on the card stock in any pattern you like and cut the card stock to your frame size, then the card stock goes in the frame and you can use the dry erase marker on the glass of the frame. Day 2- Tissue paper design sun glasses- You will need sunglasses (dollar store ones work great), tissue paper, scissors, mod podge or school glue (watered down a little so its thin but not runny for either of the glues), and a paint brush. We will start by cutting up strips of tissue paper to wrap around the arms of the glasses, then we will paint glue onto the arm and wrap the tissue around it. We will also want to paint over the tissue to seal it on. Cut off the extra and you got yourself some stylish new glasses! Day 3- Wish bracelets- We will need twine and pony beads. We will cut 3 pieces of twine and then braid them together. Once we get in a bit we will add a pony bead in and braid around it we will need 7 beads per bracelet. We will then tie the end and you make a wish when you put it on.

I also suggest making sure they have a covered work space if you want to make glue doesnt end up on any tables.

Kids will need a picture frame (dollar store ones work great) sunglasses (again dollar store is great) tissue paper washi tape white glue or mod podge paint brush scissors card stock hemp twine (or string or regular twine whatever you have available) pony beads A creative mind

Hi my name is Cassi Gardei. I am a mother of 4 awesome kids, 1 girl and 3 boys. I was a preschool teacher for 6 years in a brick and mortar school and was a professional driving instructor for the state of California for 4 years until Covid hit. I have been working with Outschool since Covid started and am a paraeducator for my local school district. Working with children is my passion and helping them learn and understand everything in new and exciting ways, especially with music for the younger kiddos. I have a bacheolors degree in Mild to Moderate Special Education.
I am looking forward to working with your kids in many areas. My favorite subjects were math and science growing up but I teach a multitude of classes from cooking to preschool to core subjects and even Kahoot games.
