In this ongoing class, learners are invited to come socialize with other crafters of all types. Knitting, crochet, looms, weaving, painting, drawing, origami, scrapbooking, sewing, quilting, pottery, sculpting, all crafts are welcome!

In this relaxed club, students are invited to come socialize with other crafters as we each work on our own projects and talk about our ideas with each other. This class is entirely learner-led, as each student will be working on any project of their choosing, and everyone is welcome to join or leave at any time. Whether your learner likes knitting, crochet, loom knitting, weaving, sewing, quilting, embroidery, cross-stitch, needle-point, papercrafting, scrapbooking, origami, drawing, painting, pottery, sculpting, friendship bracelets, beading, jewelry-making, macrame, slime-making, or any other type of craft, they're more than welcome to come talk with us and show us what they've got! They may even discover a new craft they like by talking with others and seeing their projects. ___________________________________ My Teaching Style: Demonstration and communication are my favorite tools to use in class. Crafting of any kind is much better when you can enjoy the company of friends, whether in-person or over video-chat. Being able to create something with your own, two hands is an incredible skill, and something to be immensely proud of. I feel this class would be beneficial for homeschoolers and unschoolers, as well as any student who loves to voice their ideas and bounce them off of others. I generally try to keep students unmuted, except in the case of echoes, and all students are welcome to talk, laugh, and discuss to their hearts' content. If any student is having trouble with a certain part of their project, I'm happy to help in any way I can. ___________________________________ Class expectations: As is Outschool policy, I do not allow bullying or teasing. Everyone is welcome in my classroom and learning is always something to be encouraged. I do not ask students to remain on camera for more than the initial class check-in required by Outschool policy. If your learner has any unique needs to be accomodated, please let me know! I'm happy to help and want this class to be as fun and imaginative as possible for every student. ___________________________________ Required Experience: No experience is required, and even beginner crafters are welcome in this class.
Learning Goals
Students will have a chance to improve their social skills by talking about their ideas and projects with other crafters and improve their hand-eye coordination and creative skills by working on their chosen project.
