This ongoing class will guide students through the steps of making fun and entertaining crafts! All crafts will incorporate hand strengthening, fine motor skills, sensory exploration, or bilateral coordination with the help of a pediatric OT!

Class experience

Students will engage with other student while making unique crafts that target hand and finger strength, sensory exploration, and/or bilateral coordination.
I am trained as an Occupational Therapist. I have come across so many children that could use a little extra support, whether they qualify for services or not. That is why I put together this class and others like it. I hope this class will be helpful for ALL children and give extra ideas for things you can continue to do at home. Please note that this is not a therapy session, as I have not evaluated your child and do not know specific areas they may be struggling with. I will be teaching students how to make crafts that generally target hand strength, fine motor skills, sensory, and bilateral coordination. Participation in this class can benefit all learners but should be taken with parent support and supervision as needed. If your child has significant deficits, weakness, or loss of muscle tone, it is best to consult with their Pediatrician for advice and treatment options.
Homework Offered
Most projects will be completed in class, however on occasion the student may be asked to finish outside of class if time is limited.
