Class Experience
In this one-time class, we will make a fun St. Patrick's Day craft! We will talk about some of the symbols of the holiday and when it is celebrated. Learners will have a chance to share their experiences with St. Patrick's Day. Then, I will lead them through creating a fun leprechaun craft that involves drawing, coloring, and painting (with a fork)! Finally, we will listen to some traditional Irish music. *Note that this class does involve some painting, so please be prepared for that. You...
This class is taught in English.
Supplies needed for this craft are as follows: 1. A clear area with a flat surface in which to craft 2. A piece of white cardstock, construction paper, or other heavy paper 3. A piece of green, black, and (small) yellow construction paper 4. Orange paint - I recommend washable, but any orange paint will do! 5. Markers or crayons 6. A pencil or pen 7. Glue 8. A fork (that you do not mind getting some paint on) Optional: googly eyes
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Depending on the age and ability of your learner, some parental guidance may be necessary.
