Craft With Me - Hanging Jellyfish
In this one time class, students will use basic crafting material to make their own hanging jellyfish.
What's included
1 live meeting
55 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this class we will make a hanging jellyfish out of simple crafting material. At the beginning of class I will share a link for Nat Geo Kids to learn more about jellyfish. It is not a requirement but a fun website for kids to learn about a lot of different things on. We will be working together step-by-step. I ask that their mics be muted so there isn't extra sounds making it difficult to hear instructions. I will answer questions as we go along and at the end of class we will go around to show our finished jellyfish! Students don't need to know anything about jellyfish to take the class but might come away knowing a little more.
Learning Goals
Students will complete a jellyfish craft to add to their art collection, hang from their ceiling, or from a curtain rod.

Hello! My name is Amanda Washburn. I have a Bachelor's of Fine Arts from the University of South Alabama and hold a Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) certification. I was a substitute for five years before discovering the world of online teaching where I have been teaching English to speakers of other languages since 2017.
While my degree concentration is in Graphic Design, I enjoy teaching classes in art, science, baking, and more! I will use a variety of tools both in live and digital to make my classes as entertaining and interactive as they are educational. I can't wait to meet your children and help them learn!
**Please note that each class has a posted minimum. All classes that do not meet the minimum within 24 hours of the class will be canceled. For live meetings, I will wait for 10 minutes in the classroom. If students do not show, a recording will be provided but no refund.**
