Class Experience
This is a fun flexible class where each week I will teach learners how to make Barbie size doll clothes. There is no sewing or glueing required for any of these projects. Each week you will receive a link to a Nearpod lesson which will include a prerecorded video. Here I will explain step by step how to make each new outfit. There will also be some interactive doll themed games to play and participate in. Nearpod is an engaging, interactive learning platform that is perfect for these flexible learning classes. It is extremely easy to use and I will provide instructions along with the link on how to access the class. Every week we will use a different item to make the doll clothes. Week one - Socks! Materials: 3 or 4 pairs of socks scissors (supervision required for some learners) ribbon hair bands or elastic. Following the link to the Nearpod class, learners will be taught how to make 3 different outfits using socks. Socks can be any colour, pattern or design you choose. The class will consist of a prerecorded video with step by step instructions on how to make each outfit using items from the materials list. Week two - Gloves! Materials: 3 or 4 pairs of gloves scissors (supervision required for some learners) ribbon hair bands or elastic. Following the link to the Nearpod class, learners will be taught how to make 3 different outfits using gloves. Gloves can be any colour, pattern or design you choose. The class will consist of a prerecorded video with step by step instructions on how to make each outfit using items from the materials list. Week three - Balloons! Materials: 5 or 6 balloons (and maybe some extra - spares are always handy!) scissors (supervision required for some learners) Using Nearpod again, the prerecorded video will show step by step instructions on how to make each outfit using balloons. Week four - Fabric squares! Materials: 5 or 6 pieces of jersey knit fabric (this can be from unwanted t-shirts) scissors (supervision required for some learners) markers Using Nearpod again, the prerecorded video will show step by step instructions on how to make each outfit using the fabric. I'm excited for your learner to join this class and see their amazing creations :)

Teacher expertise and credentials
As a primary school teacher, I was often asked to run extra curriculum clubs. Craft clubs were always popular but often had limited resources. 'No sew ' or 'No glue' crafts and projects are fun, creative, and inspire children to find different solutions to tp problems. With 3 daughters, making homemade doll clothes has always been something I've enjoyed doing with them.
