Each week we will begin with introductions and sharing. Each student will have a short amount of time to share so that we can all have a turn and still have plenty of time to make our new craft together. After sharing, I will show the students step by step how to complete the project for the day. I always encourage students to ask questions throughout the class. Week 1 - No-Sew Pillows (fabric glue or hot glue, 1/2 yard of fabric, scissors, and a few pieces of felt) Week 2 - Watercolor Shoes or bags (white canvas shoes or bag, sharpies in a variety of colors, rubbing alcohol, and q-tips) Week 3 - Flower Painting (8x10 canvas or board, hot glue, scissors, and a lot of artificial flowers in at least 2 colors) Week 4 - string art (push pins, variety of embroidery floss, square canvas) Week 5 - Pencil Holder (empty aluminum can or small coffee container, at least 3 pieces of felt in different colors, craft glue or hot glue, and scissors) Week 6 - Napkin Rings (2-3 small blocks of sculpey, sheet pan or aluminum foil) parents can help kids do the sculpey baking after class. Week 7 - dot art coffee mugs (solid white coffee mug and 3 sharpie paint pens) Week 8 - wish bracelets (hemp cord and large seed beads) This group is very fun but we will also get a lot done in our time together. No experience is required in this class. If you think that one of these activities may be difficult for your child, please stay near them off-screen to assist. Students will likely finish most projects during class but they may need extra time for some projects. We will use hot glue for a few lessons so your child should be confident using the glue gun independently so they do not burn themselves. You can use craft glue as an alternative but it takes time to dry completely and specifically on the flower project, is very difficult to keep each item in place while it dries.

Parental Guidance
There may be times that students need assistance with something. Please make yourself available in case they need assistance during class. I have noted in the materials section that students can use fabric or craft glue or hot glue. Either is fine but hot glue is preferred. I will be demonstrating with hot glue because it dries faster. Please choose the glue that you are comfortable with your student using independently. Students will be using scissors in most classes.
