Students should bring a doll or stuffed animal with limbs to perform CPR compressions and first aid assessment.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be provided opportunities in the form of scenarios to test their knowledge. They will be asked to utilize a stuffed animal, doll, or their own body to practice and assess during modeling and scenarios. Students will be given verbal feedback from teacher.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Graphic images (blood, minor cuts, head injuries, traumatic scenes) will be present throughout this class - students will be given a warning as to what will be presented on each slide. This course does NOT certify a student in CPR & First Aid - This is an introduction to the topics.
