There will be a combination of using both Nearpod and Google Slides presentation, but most of the time Google slides will be used and then a game of Blooket will be played. This full-year course, meeting twice a week, covers 72 essential math topics to build a solid foundation in number systems, expressions and equations, ratios and proportions, geometry, and statistics & probability. Learning Goals

No Account Needed for Blooket: We will be using Blooket, an interactive learning game platform, during our lessons to make math fun and engaging. Students do not need to create an account—a game link will be provided during class for easy access.

We want to ensure a smooth and enjoyable learning experience for all students! Please review the following important details about our class:
✅ **Substitute Teachers:** In the event that the primary teacher is unavailable, a qualified substitute teacher may lead the class. All substitute teachers meet Outschool’s safety and teaching requirements.
✅ **Refund & Cancellation Policy:** A 50% refund will be provided if cancellation is requested at least 48 hours in advance of the next class session. This helps reserve your child’s spot in the course. No refunds will be issued for missed classes, but a recorded summary or homework review can be provided upon request.
✅ **Background Noise & Class Etiquette:** Please ensure your child is in a quiet learning environment to minimize background noise. While we encourage participation, we also ask that students keep their microphones muted when not speaking to maintain a focused class setting.
✅ **Technical Requirements:** A stable internet connection, a working microphone, and a device (laptop, tablet, or desktop computer) are needed. No additional apps or materials are required.
✅ **Class Participation:** This class is interactive, and students are encouraged to participate through discussions, answering questions, and playing Blooket games. However, shy learners are welcome to observe and participate at their own comfort level.
✅ **Parental Supervision:** Parents do not need to be on camera but may assist younger students if needed, especially in navigating Zoom and Blooket links.
✅ **Missed Classes:** If your child misses a class, please let us know! While we do not provide recordings, we can share a summary and optional homework so your learner can stay on track.
✅ **Respectful & Safe Learning Environment:** We maintain a positive, welcoming classroom for all learners. Any disruptive behavior may result in removal from the session to ensure a safe and productive learning experience for everyone.
