Class Experience
Students will learn about 10 women from the Revolutionary War period who helped to establish this new country that we call America. Each week we will pay tribute to one special lady and learn about her contributions to the beginnings of America. Students will learn about these amazing ladies through a variety of ways; power points, discussions, biographies, interactive sites, and virtual field trips to visit their homes. I will provide optional extension activities in the form of websites or short videos.
large construction paper 1-2 pieces any color white copy paper (10-12 pieces) crayons, markers, color pencils stapler with staples
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learner progress will be assessed informally and I will provide guidance as needed.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
