Class Experience
During this engaging class, we will learn about couplet poems and create some about toys. A couplet poem usually has 2 lines that rhyme. For example, "ball" and "doll" could be used. Additionally, each line has about the same number of syllables. Students will be given examples and support throughout the writing process. Notably, we will discuss toys, rhyming, syllables, nouns, and adjectives. I'll encourage everyone to share a poem or at least a portion of their wonderful writing. Learners...
This class is taught in English.
There is no homework.
Learners will need paper, pencils, and an eraser. If they want, learners can bring some toys to class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
