Description

Class Experience

During this engaging class, we will learn about couplet poems and create some about rainbows. A couplet poem usually has 2 lines that rhyme. Additionally, each line has about the same number of syllables. For example, "high" and "sky" could be incorporated. Students will be given examples and support throughout the writing process. Notably, we will discuss rainbows, colors, rhyming, nouns, and adjectives. I'll encourage everyone to share a poem or at least a portion of their wonderful...

This class is taught in English.

There is no homework.

  1 file available upon enrollment
Learners will need paper, pencils, and an eraser. Feel free to print out the lesson document before or after class, but learners don't need it. I will share my screen during our meeting.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Magical things like unicorns and leprechauns may be discussed. This class has a secular and creative focus.
