Class Experience
During this engaging class, we will learn about couplet poems and create some about cats. A couplet poem usually has 2 lines that rhyme. For example, “cat” and “mat” could be used. Additionally, each line has about the same number of syllables. Students will be given examples and support throughout the writing process. Notably, we will discuss cats, rhyming, nouns, and adjectives. For example, adjectives like "strong" and "long" can describe certain cats. I'll encourage everyone to share a...

There is no homework.
1 file available upon enrollmentLearners will need paper, pencils, and an eraser. I attached a lesson document, but learners don't need it. I will share my screen, but feel free to print it out before or after class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
