Class Experience
Roses are red and poetry’s fun; Here is a couplet! I’ll help you make one! In this class, students will learn the general set up for a rhyming couplet and create couplets of their own! Slides will initially be used for the teaching/discovery aspect of this lesson, and then a creative writing portion of the class will occur! Topics will be chosen at random from our class spinners, and participants will be able to offer their own ideas! The goal is to learn something new, practice rhyming and...
Students will learn the set up for a rhyming couplet and understand how to write their own.
No homework will be assigned.
Students will simply need something to write on/in (like a notebook) and a writing utensil of their choice! If they'd like to color code their rhyming words, students may want a highlighter or multiple colors!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
