Counting Fun With Teacher Jodi (11-20 And Counting by 10's)

The student will experience counting and understanding the number value of 11-20.  We will use counting objects and 10's frames to expose the student to number names and meaning.  The youngest learner will learn rote counting (able to say numbers in order).  The next step is to add value to the numbers.  How many is 13?  Can you show me 15?  We will find and count objects and put them in tens frames to help understand their values.  We will sing counting songs that demonstrate a variety of numbers.  This class will be fun and interactive if you come with small items to count and the tens frame PDF.  
Class content will be adjusted to meet the needs of the students enrolled.  We will review 1-10 for understanding of number value, practice counting 11-20 and add value as the learners are ready.  Curriculum is always adjusted to meet students needs and interests. This is a great class to get a lot of counting practice.  No two classes will be exactly the same.

Feb 20  Counting people using 10's frame.  Counting by 10's to 100.  Counting songs.
