Students will learn to count from 1 to 100 by 1's, 2's, 5's, and by 10's. A power point will have the numbers on the screen so as the teacher and the students say the number--they will also see the number. If the student has pencil and paper, when asked, they can write numbers down and show it to the rest of the class. We will have fun and interact with the other students. There is music/songs in the class presentation. Students are encouraged to move their hands, arms, and their head...
Students will focus on counting to 100 by 1's. 2's, 5's, and by 10's. This skill is essential for all math learning. Students will learn to count things in their lives like how many rooms in their home, how many toys do they have, etc. Teacher James
I have a Master's Degree, semi-retired, and now I work with students from kindergarten through high school as a substitute teacher, afterschool tutoring, writing plays and skits, and teaching on-stage acting classes. The plays have presented to the public in theaters and schools. My philosophy; “No one can take away your education.” I encourage students to have fun learning and to take ownership in their education. I have a great rapport with students. I enjoy telling stories, flying kites, cooking on a campfire, building parade floats, tutoring after school, attending students' sports events with their parents. I hear from kids and parents,“Where do you get your energy?” Teacher James
No homework from me. Yet, Mom or Dad may want to asked their child to count aloud to 100 for them. Or, to count by 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's. If your child is still struggling with counting to 100, or they need more confidence in counting, please repeat the class. Their learned skills can help other students also. Students at home are to be encouraged to write down the numbers 1-100 they have learned. Teacher James
Helpful but not required paper and pencil for students to write down numbers. Our they can use a White Board. Teacher James
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.

*I teach several classes for grade school kids. A math class for pre-K and K; "Counting to 100 by 1's, 2's, 5's, & 10's". Other math: an ADDITION CLASS and a SUBTRACTION CLASS using PowerPoint flash-cards. I offer a Short-Story Writing Class....
