Welcome to the first Counter-Strike 2 (formerly Counter-Strike: Global Offensive CS:GO) squadron on Outschool! If you like first-person shooters, cooperating in tactical situations, and challenging friends in friendly matches (with a break from the toxic environment of public online play), this is the place for you! I have been playing video games since I first met Boulder Dash on my Commodore 64. I have hosted multiple gaming classes on OS over the last few years and look forward to providing a safe and private space for learners to play CS:GO away from the toxic community of playing the game online with the general public. While I am fairly new to this game, I'm happy to host and learn how to play better from learners in the class!

ESRB rating for this first-person shooter game is M for Mature (blood, intense violence). Common Sense Media recommends ages 16+. Learners will have to share Steam User ID information, as well as have downloaded the free game from Steam on PC, in order to participate in co-op play during class. Please talk to your learner about Internet safety protocols and when it is appropriate to share personal information. This class may use breakout rooms to allow learners to co-op play and strategize as teams during class time. In the event breakout rooms are used, the teacher will alternate among rooms to moderate and keep on track, as well as being in game with learners.
